SO41 8LH A GENUINE 1969 TRIUMPH TR6 CP 150 WITH OVERDRIVE. ORIGINAL COLOUR DAMSON RED WITH BLACK INTERIOR. A MATCHING NUMBERS CP 150 WITH COMPREHENSIVE DOCUMENTED SERVICE HISTORY. CURRENT MOT TILL 17 08 2017 WITH NO ADVISORIES AND HISTORIC TAXATION CLASS. Approx. 18,000 miles with a rebuilt engine and gearbox (OVER DRIVE ON 2/3/4) and reconditioned differential. Engine work included a new camshaft with lightened cam followers, timing chain and 3 piece Borg clutch. Other work included a new radiator and water pump and adjustable Kenlowe fan, various cooling hoses, new alternator and starter motor. The running gear has been renovated and is poly - bushed and the chassis thoroughly under sealed. It has an Emerald M3 DK engine management ECU fitted for efficient running and performance which has just been remapped. There is a print out showing 146 BHP/146LB/FT) The interior is in superb condition with a walnut dash with chromed dials, a Moto Lita wheel and a new period style Mannheim Stereo which has I pod connectivity as well. There is also a 12V. socket in the glove box. It has black Cobra bucket seats fitted and properly installed twin roll hoops for safety. It has 5 x new Pirelli Cinturato tyres on black original Wolfrace alloys as well as 5 original steel wheels are included in the sale. Other features include a long range aluminium fuel tank, twin pipe stainless sports exhaust which sounds great. The hood is new with the previous supplied as a spare. The paintwork is still very good, with good panel gaps and a lovely clean underside. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and smart. There is a new battery with an isolator switch for storage, and it comes with a waterproof cover. The car has an interesting documented history and over a 4 year period from 1997-2001 the restoration featured on a regular basis in Practical Classics magazine and was placed on the Auto glym stand at the Alexandra Palace Classic Car show. There are photographs and running reports in the substantial file along with handbooks and workshop manuals and 3 sets of keys (all the locks work correctly) The car now carries a nice patina and is an example to be used with confidence. It feels superbly set up, quick, responsive and has excellent handling, excellent oil pressure and positive gear changes. An ideal car for long distance touring or a blow the cobwebs away blast at weekends. Plenty of torque, progressive power delivery and fabulous over drive performance.
