MODEL HISTORY
The model S was styled by Franz von Holzhausen, who previously worked for Mazda North American Operations. In June 2015, three years after the Model S introduction and with almost 75,000 Model S sedans delivered worldwide, Tesla announced that Model S owners have accumulated over 1 billion electric miles travelled, and saved more than half a million tons of CO2.

EXTERIOR
The Model S is finished in a magnificent and very rare Green Metallic Paint. Tesla's design and engineering teams have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure that air flows smoothly above, around and below Model S to reduce drag, which in turn maximises battery range. The smart air suspension lowers the car's height at motorway speeds to its reduce frontal area. Electronically controlled vents stay closed until sensors detect that cooling is necessary. The front bumper routes air uninterrupted beneath the battery's flat skidplate and past the rear diffuser. The result is a seven seat saloon with the stance of a coupe and supercar aerodynamics.

INTERIOR
The interior is Piano Black Decor and Extended Nappa Leather Trim a beautiful combination including ambient lighting. The cabin combines meticulous noise engineering with Tesla's uniquely quiet powertrain to obtain the sound dynamics of a recording studio. The gem of the interior is the 17 inch touch screen, which is angled toward the driver and includes both day and night modes for better visibility without distraction.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The Tesla Model S model has a three phase, four pole AC induction 373 bhp (278 kW) and 441 Nm rear-mounted electric motor with copper rotor. The rear axle has a traditional open differential. The discontinued Model S 85 top speed is 140 mph (230km/h) and it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.4 seconds. Using a 85 kWh electric vehicle battery delivering 320 miles (510 km), assuming a constant speed of 55 mph (89 km/h). The 85 kWh battery pack is guaranteed for eight years and unlimited miles.

Although I established Prindiville Design in 2000, my passion for the highest quality automotive engineering and craftsmanship stretches back to my childhood.
